Forest Hall Medical Group takes pride in providing a wide range of health care services. The Practice is fortunate to have a spacious, purpose built premises with excellent facilities.
The Practice offers a full range of enhanced primary care services, including maternity services, travel and health clinics and a range of minor surgery procedures.
The Practice team is made up of Doctors, a pharmacist, a nurse practitioner, practice nurse, healthcare assistants, receptionists, administrators, a secretary and management members. We work as a team, we support the achievement of team goals, co-operating and communicating with colleagues.
All staff members share the same view, which is to provide high quality primary care with the best possible customer service levels by maintaining strict policies and adhering to the NHS guidelines. The vision of the Practice, which is well known to all staff members, is that we put patients at the heart of activity, listening and responding to thier needs compassionatley and demonstrating respect for their opinions and wishes.
As a Practice we recognise and understand organisational changes, which helps to make improvements happen and we share good practice.

Dr Kirk works all day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
I trained in Nottingham but returned to my native Newcastle after qualifying as GP. I started as a partner at Forest Hall in 1994. My medical interests include musculosketetal medicine, cardiovascular disease, DMARD monitoring and medical student teaching. I am married with 2 children and I enjoy distance running and the occasional triathlon, cycling, fell walking, most sports and photography.

I graduated from Newcastle and joined the practice in 2008 as a partner. I have a special interest in Diabetes, run the practice Minor Surgery service and train GP registrars. When I'm not at work I enjoy swimming, running, gardening and pottery.

GP at Forest Hall since 2010.
I enjoy day to day General Practice, perform Mother and Baby 6-8 week checks and have an interest in joint injections and cardiovascular disease.

Dr McBride works all day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and alternate Wednesdays and Fridays
I trained at Leeds University but then returned home to Newcastle after qualifying in 2008. I have worked at a number of hospitals in the region and then completed GP training at Forest Hall in 2013. My medical interests include women's health, family planning and psychological problems. Outside of work I enjoy running, spending time with friends and family and visiting new places.

Dr Parker works alternate Mondays and Fridays and all day Tuesday and Wednesday.
I came to live in Newcastle in October 2015 and joined Forest Hall in 2016. I was a partner in a GP practice in Hull for 19 years before coming here. My medical interests include women and children's health and teaching medical students. Outside of work I enjoy being part of a local church, swimming, reading, and travel.
